TEACH A CHILD TO COOK AND THEY'LL EAT FOR A LIFETIME
One of the greatest gifts you can ever give your child is the gift of knowledge, experience, and confidence. Learning how to bake a cupcake, exploring a new spice, and deciding that there is a vegetable in the world that they actually enjoy are all parts of the Ninja Kid Cookoff!
We would love for your family to join us for our 4th Annual Ninja Kid Cookoff- classes that will teach your child some of the most important concepts in the kitchen: cooking simple yet delicious meals (even by themselves at a certain age), baking, kitchen safety, broadening their horizons with new recipes and ingredients, proper knife skills, responsibility, confidence, and of course fun!
WHO: Each class is taught by 10 year old Chef Lexi and her mama Victoria Wilson, owner of Bring it Home by Victoria and VLW Family Empowerment. Lexi loves to cook and bake for her family, is auditioning for Food Network's Kid Baking Championship, and has been a contestant in the Ninja Kid Cookoff for three consecutive years.We recommend children ages 6-16 take this class.
WHEN: We understand that everyone's schedule is different! This year's cookoff will be held completely online. All courses are available to you and your family from the time of your purchase until as long as you need them. No more rushing home from swim class to make sure you don't miss your cooking class! Grab the kids, gather round, and let's get cooking!
OUR WHY: Having five children, being a wife, homeschool teacher, and business owner (along with all my other assorted duties and responsibilities), I completely recognize how easy it is to become completely unbalanced when it comes to truly leaning into the journey your children are on. I also understand the struggle within your world, and yourself, when you realize that your kids are growing every minute and you have been assigned the amazingly beautiful, yet chaotically hectic, task of guiding them as they learn, grow, and play. Trust me, I get it.
What I have come to realize is two very important things that go hand and hand:
- Being a parent is one of the most important ministries you will ever have in this world. You will need to love them well and teach them well as they travel through this life.
- They gotta eat…
That’s where the Ninja Kid was born! Our entire mission around the Ninja Kid Cookoff is to provide you, as a loving parent, a resource that covers both: a powerful, and prayerfully life-changing, experience for you to learn, grow, love, and play with your child as they navigate the endless possibilities within the kitchen and the world of food.
Our hope is that you take this time, however long that might be, to not only instill a lifelong love of cooking and food in your home but also to watch as your children vigorously grow around your table.
